THE ENGLISH PART.. ABOUT CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR.

December comes with all its joy, a month of party, of celebration ("LLega diciembre con su alegría, mes de parranda, de animación* ♪♫ Traditional Colombian song*)

In this month, full of feelings, emotions, jobs, food and people, they come together two of the most important celebrations of the year (I would say the most ones, depending on where everyone is): Christmas and new year.

Christmas is considered a christian west tradition, since in most of Asia and Africa it is not celebrated. However, it is possible to say that most of the world citizens know about this holiday (even those who do not celebrate it), maybe because of tv, movies or the internet; anyhow, it is awesome the number of events that happen in other "non christian" cultures at this time, in december, mainly on the 21st, in hte winter solstice, like the judish hannu ka, among others. Definitely, december, is a joyful month, no matter religion nor location.

In regards to New year's celebration, it is carried out in most of the world, though in countries like China, the year, according to its traditions, the year ends a little bit late, some time after... Anyhow, for most of the people, the year officialy ends on december 31st at 11:59:59 pm... In that day, wherever one may be, at that right time, with fireworks, midnight dinner, yellow underclothes and beans within the pocket, with relatives and friens around, there is a feeling of plenty happiness, hope, decision and strenght that pull one self to celebrate the issue that past is past, that it is a new time coming, that everything can be possible, and so and so. And then we give hugs around while wishing to everyone whealth, health, and love for the coming year. What drives me curious is the fact that in the east, they start the new year before... the fact that japanesses and australians, among others, are 14 hours in advance, from americans, for instance. This is hilarious, for me, that the time, untamed, contless, relentless, and non-stoping, lets itself to be fixed according to geographical issues...¿Or is it that God made the east first, and then the west? Summing up, I do not want to get round into a global missunderstanding, nor a global diplomatic argument. Not at all!

The truth is that, in spite of everyone and evrything, in spite the weather, the multiple differences, the problems, the origin (that is the same for everybody, according to the christianism, the evolution, or any other , regardless each one's beliefs), in december, human beings come together, with faith, hope and love, in an amazing way: "New year, new life, days will be happier" ("♪Año nuevo, vida nueva, más alegres los días serán*♫" Traditional song*) around a tree, a dinner, a candle, or like it happens in my hometown, around the main square, a beer in the hand, since, I have to say it, many, many people celebrates new year drinking; thinking of they did and what they did not do; planning for the new year, promising, and then when there is just few seconds for the right time, everyone sings "Church bells are ringing, announcing old year's departure" ("♪Las campanas de la iglesia están sonando, anunciando que el año viejo se va♫" traditional song*), counting down the 30 last seconds of a dying year... and waiting for the one that is coming... "a year that is coming and another that is leaving" ("un año que viene y otro que se va ♪♫"Traditional song*).

An then, when the hugs and tears are over, it starts to play that song that says "I do not forget the old year, because It has given me very good things... It gave me a billy goat, a black donkey, a white mare and a good mother in law" ( "♪ Yo no olvido el año viejo, por que me ha dejado cosas muy buenas... me dejo una chiva, una burra negra, una yegua blanca y una buena suegra ♫ " Traditional song*).

I know I did not say too much. I just wanted to write something... about this season... about how good we do, about how much we do in this time, about what humans are, a bunch of emotions !!!

And as a joke-story teller said : I do not care !!! This is my blog and here I write of what I want !!! hehehe

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYBODY AND A NEW YEAR FULL OF GOOD EXPERIENCES AND MOMENTS TO BE REMEMBERED THE LAST DAY OF THE YEAR !!!
